Fierce chills had been continually trickling down Roxy's spine for the past ten minutes as she sat, almost glued to her chair. The silence was thick, heavy. No one wanted to say anything because almost everyone's plan involved someone getting hurt. Mark stayed silent, mentally going through every spell he knew of, hoping he'd find one that could fit their situation.
When Alex proposed his idea, Roxy didn't look at him. She waited until the sense of what he was really saying to sink in to her brain. Once it had, she looked over at him. "Alex, you can't," Roxy replied, her voice soft, worried. Knowing Elizabeth, she could probably hear everything that wasgoing on in this room anyway. If she knew that Alexander wasletting her re-possess her and if he were to be somewhere safe, like a cage, Roxy knew that Elizabeth would make Alex do something horrible to himself. That would be Roxy's downfall, and Elizabeth was well aware of that. Feeling very aware that Alex would tell her that he could handle it and everything like that, Roxy was totally and completely opposed to the proposition. "No." She said, sounding very final, "There has to be another way."
With this, Roxy turned to Mark, looking at him almost desperately. He still sat, staring intently into the fire, until he seemingly came to an idea, when he sat up a little bit. He looked at Roxy, unaware that she was leading the conversation onto him.
"Oh, er," He said, his English accent lining his words, "There is one spell, an immobility spell, that might work. If we go along with what Alexander said and let Elizabeth possess him, I could put the immobility spell on Alex, so that even if he is in safe conditions, Elizabeth won't be able to move his body around, so she couldn't make him hurt himself."
At these words, Roxy looked at him for a moment before falling silent, sitting back into her chair, slipping into more deep thinking. She looked over at Sadie, who looked absolutely fear-stricken. The poor girl. This was all Roxy's fault, allllll her own fault. And now, because of her, the life of an innocent human girl was in incredible danger. And Roxy couldn't let Alexander go through it again. If anything happened to him, she had no idea what she'd do.

The moment that Roxy protested, and that was long before she said anything, he tensed, fighting back the urge to stand up and protest himself that he would be perfectly fine. Well...he might come out of it aching a little, but due to his age as a vampire, he highly doubted she would be able to kill him, though another problem was that he might panic and fight her, and shove her out of his body, if possible, before they could do anything about her. He couldn't let Sadie see him do anything without thinking about it first, she had already entrusted her life to him, and expected, almost foolishly, him to protect her and look out for her at every corner. He tried, but he couldn't be everywhere at once. He was still wishing the damned thing had stayed at home in London, why couldn't she use a phone anymore?
Glancing down to the ground, he gave himself a moment to calm, so that he didn't just react childishly without thinking about it. “I don't see how else we can...deal with this.” He said to her softly, looking straight at Roxy, ignoring the other two for a moment. But despite whatever he wanted, Alex was not stupid, he wouldn't go off and give himself up as bait if the two of them didn't have some way to control or subdue him. No offense to Roxy, but it was more than obvious from last time that it would be no trouble for anyone using his body to kill her, over half a millenia of life did that for a vamp. Following her gaze to Mark, apparently this weeny thing was the man of the hour, he started to wonder just how powerful a witch he was. Power was not the only thing a witch needed, knowledge too. Unfortunately for them right now, the only witch he knew was currently overseas fighting a war as a member of the army, pretending to be perfectly human of course.
Although, perhaps this Mark was better than he thought. Didn't stop him wanting to tear the guy's throat out though. Listening to the male witch, he glanced down at the ground, thinking to himself. Part of him was thinking yay, great that Elizabeth wouldn't be able to move his body around and hurt them, or himself, which was of course the most important thing. But...as he thought about it even briefly, his claustrophobia started to tingle back up his spine, trying to force the urge to run from the room. It was dark and small, pitch black at the edges, with that heavy feeling as if underground- No, he had to stop himself thinking that, otherwise he might freak out and get one of them, or even himself, killed. Maybe it was the fact that the truly male part of him was subconsciously competing with Mark, but he wasn't going to let the witch know about his little mental phobia, he would deal with it and say nothing. So that was that, it was a great plan!
It wasn't quite finished though. “She'll know... How quickly can you do this spell?” He meant on the spot really. “So that you could...switch it on at a second's notice perhaps?” If he could wander around being bait, or even just return to his own dorm room and wait, then Mark could 'appear' and literally work his magic. In that case, he'd have to get it right first time, otherwise Elizabeth would probably put his hand through his chest and kill him. Alex had, seen her thinking that, as if she fantasized about different ways to kill people, true no doubt. Young Sadie was on the edge of her seat, as if trying to scoot closer to Alex. It was a subconscious thing, she wasn't trying to take Roxy's man or anything, but she knew Alex, and he was the first person in all the world she would trust, like a big brother or an uncle or something.

Mark had been thinking the same thing that Alexander had. If Elizabeth knew that there was other people in the room with Alex, or if people were planning something around her, she would definitely retaliate. They would need a cage, probably one in a teacher's room. "Oh, I can do that spell in a second. She won't even know what hit her," Mark replied, looking at Alexander, continuing his train of thought. "And I'd be able to put an invisibility and protection spell over Roxy, Sadie and myself, and a protection spell on you so that you can be possessed by her but not have her invade your mind or anything of the sort." Mark looked from Sadie to Roxy to Alexander, and then back at Roxy. He was actually a very powerful witch. He'd been training with teachers for a long time, and although he only used his powers to the full extent when he absolutely had to, Mark was still very capable of causing large amounts of damage if he wanted to.
Roxy had sat back up in her chair, listening to Alex and then Mark, before feeling slightly defeated and sinking back into her chair. She hated the idea of Elizabeth getting back into Alexander, it was far too risky, even if they did have protection spells to keep everyone safe. She was already putting him in enough danger, now along with the life of a human girl. Roxy put her elbow on the arm of the chair, letting her chin fall into the palm of her hand. "I don't like this," she murmered softly, almost as if she were trying to whisper to the flames in the fireplace, "I don't like this at all." Pausing for a moment, Roxy looked at Alexander, looking over his face for a moment before speaking. "What if we let her possess.... me.. not Alexander?" Though she was looking right into Alex's eyes, Roxy was speaking to Mark. She was seemingly captivated by Alex for the time being. Roxy would most definitely let herself get hurt before she let Alex or Sadie or Mark get hurt.
